GREEN TOMATO PICKING NOW! fig season UNDERWAY!!

6/21/2023

OPEN 7:30am-1:00pm Thur. 6/22, Fri. 6/23. Sat. 6/24 and MAYBE Sun. 6/25/23 unless picked out or weather issue. CHECK THE WEBSITE HOMEPAGE BEFORE YOU DRIVE OUT TO BE SURE WE ARE OPEN. Guess what? You can now pick GREEN TOMATOES. Pick the ones that will turn yellow when ripe, because their dense interior when picked green is perfect for frying! Great week for fig picking: Celeste (Texas Sugar Fig) and LSU Gold figs ripe now. Lots of thornless blackberries to pick, but production has peaked and is starting to slow down, so pick soon! For UPick: Thornless blackberries, Celeste figs, LSU Gold Figs, green onions (few tops, mostly pick for planting), beets, yellow squash, scallop squash, zucchini, carrots, slicing cucumbers, dill, radishes, Daikon radishes, peppers, tomatoes, zinnias and LOTS of Eggplant. Butternut squash, acorn squash and cushaw are sold pre-picked, but not for U-Pick. We have a FEW pre-picked peaches for sale. PLEASE DON’T PICK SQUASH BLOSSOMS. Bring CLIPPERS to cut zinnias, bell peppers, eggplant and dill. PLEASE CHECK IN AT MARKET before picking. Pickers must check-in before 12:30pm and weigh/pay by 1:00pm sharp closing time. CASH/MC/VISA/AMEX accepted for all purchases, but check-in is usually quicker with cash. No pets/No checks please. Sorry, no picnic areas. You may bring your own box but please line with plastic bag for removal when weighing. This farm is our livelihood, so every ounce counts—PLEASE WEIGH AND PAY BEFORE EATING. 21104 Binford Rd., Waller, TX 77484
