The Dog Days of Summer are over, and so is our season! Thank you all for coming out to pick fruits, vegetables, flowers and enjoy the farm. Here's to hoping for better weather and no road construction next year! We appreciate all of your support and look forward to opening back up late April or early May 2022.
Last day of the regular season will be Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021--hours 7:30am-1:00pm. For U-Pick: Figs, muscadine grapes, blackberries, zinnias, kale, peppers, eggplant, and lots of OKRA. Please bring your shears for cutting flowers and eggplant, and some okra. In the market, for sale we have winter squash (butternut, acorn & spaghetti squash), pickled okra, homemade peach preserves, blackberry plants, homemade blackberry preserves and bundles of peach BBQ wood. Grape-pickers, please scroll down the homepage to "Berry and Grape Picking Tips" and see how to pick Muscadine grapes so you know what colors are ripe. Please note grapes are to be picked individually, not the whole cluster. For your children's safety, PLEASE don't allow them to pull or hang on the single wire that supports the grapes. Keep watching thisUpdates tab as we hope to open a special day or so in the fall for U-pick--just what will be available totally depends on the weather in the next few weeks. It will NOT be a pumpkin patch, but may offer vegetables and fruits of the season. We look forward to seeing y'all tomorrow as we close out this long and definitely different summer!
