Still anxiously awaiting the start of our season in another week and a half or so, but too early to set a firm date yet. The plants are enjoying the almost 3" rain we got this week, so they are growing as fast as they can for you, as you can see in these pictures taken today, 4/28/22. A few blackberries and peaches are starting to get some color and rapidly gaining in size. Tomatoes are still green but also gaining weight, and chard is ready to pick. Carrots and beets doing well underground. Eggplant, kale, cabbage and okra are still small, but looking healthy. Squash will be ready for opening day, and we see already see the first few sunflowers blooming. So everything just needs a bit more time. Keep watching here or our Facebook page "Neal's Berry Farm & Farmer's Market." It won't be long now!
