U-Pick Celeste figs are diminishing but some still available, and LSU Gold figs are producing well -- best picking of figs is early morning. Bring your clippers to pick from a new patch of beautiful floral quality SUNFLOWERS —only $1/stem! U-Pick available ‘til sold out: yellow squash, scallop squash, zucchini, okra (few), carrots, slicing cucumbers (few), radishes, peppers, tomatoes (any color ok to pick), zinnias, eggplant, and green onion bulbs for planting. Our homegrown watermelons, cantaloupes, acorn squash, butternuts, and cushaw are sold pre-picked in the market. Bring CLIPPERS to cut flowers, bell peppers, and eggplant. Black muscadine grapes are not ripe until they are dark black. Pick only the black ones, and pick them individually, not in clusters. FOR KIDS' SAFETY, PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO HANG OR PULL ON THE WIRE HOLDING THE VINES.
