OPEN Sat. 7/15/23 7:30am-1:00pm. This is LIKELY our final day of the season due to the continuing heat wave, but check back here in a few days for any changes. CHECK WEBSITE HOMEPAGE BEFORE YOU COME OUT TO BE SURE WE ARE OPEN. Black Muscadine Grapes ready to pick now !! (Pick when black, not red. For kids’ safety, please do not allow them to hang or pull on the single wire that holds all the grapes.) Some thornless blackberries still available—look under leaves where berries are shaded from the sun. U-Pick Celeste figs are diminishing but some still available, and LSU Gold figs are producing well -- best picking of figs is early morning. Bring your clippers to pick from a new patch of beautiful floral quality SUNFLOWERS —only $1/stem! U-Pick available ‘til sold out: yellow squash, scallop squash, zucchini, okra (few), carrots, slicing cucumbers (few), radishes, peppers, tomatoes (any color ok to pick), zinnias, eggplant, and green onion bulbs for planting. Our homegrown watermelons, cantaloupes, acorn squash, butternuts, and cushaw are sold pre-picked in the market. Bring CLIPPERS to cut flowers, bell peppers, and eggplant. PLEASE DON’T PICK SQUASH BLOSSOMS. Pickers must check-in AT THE MARKET before 12:30pm and weigh/pay by 1:00pm sharp closing time. CASH/MC/VISA/AMEX. No pets/No checks please. Sorry, no picnic areas. Picking boxes $2.00, UPick fruit $6.00/lb, UPick vegs $2.50/lb.
