what's available Thur. 5-28-2020?

5/27/2020

We will be open tomorrow (Thur. May 28, 2020) regular hours 7:30am-1:00pm. See yellow sign updated to include okra, peppers and eggplant for picking, along with all the vegetables we have already had for you to pick. We had some rain today, but the grass between the rows in the berry field should be pretty well-drained by morning so you can pick thornless blackberries too. We are in peak blackberry season now, so you can fill your box quickly from any of the 49 berry rows.We recommend wearing rain boots or shoes you don't mind getting wet. The veggie fields are muddy but can still be picked in. (Please do not step on the plastic row cover--it is there as a weed barrier, and if you step on it, you make a hole in the plastic and then weeds come thru). Please bring your own scissors or garden shears if you wish to pick flowers, okra, eggplant or cabbage. Pickers please arrive by 12:30pm to pick, weigh and pay before our 1:00pm closing time. In our market, we have homegrown peaches, nectarines, squash, tomatoes, corn, cucumbers and more. Looking forward to a great day tomorrow!
