UPick muscadine grapes and Pre-picked Colorado Peaches!

9/2/2023

Open Tues. 9/5/23 8am-12:00noon for U-Pick muscadines. (A few U-pick figs, too) BREAKING NEWS: A limited supply of divine (pre-picked) Palisade, Colorado peaches will be for sale! NOW BACK TO OUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED POST: Our muscadine grapes are way different from the local wild muscadines. Wilson Bros Gardens says, “Fry Scuppernong is the standard in muscadines and one of if not the best for fresh eating… large, super sweet grapes of 21% sugar content with excellent quality and taste, and the skin is edible.” Ison’s Nursery, developer of Supreme Black muscadine, says their grape “is one of the very best and biggest muscadines. .. long shelf life, edible skin … 22% sugar.“ Both are highly prized for wine, jelly and fresh eating!
PICK INDIVIDUAL GRAPES, NOT CLUSTERS. For kids’ safety, please do not allow them to hang or pull on the single wire that holds all the grapes. Pickers must check in at market at least 30 minutes before closing time. CASH/MC/VISA/AMEX. No pets/No checks please. Sorry, no picnic areas. Restroom is available. Admission $3.00. Picking boxes $2.00, U-Pick grapes $6.00/lb. For sale: Blackberry plants $20 and Blackberry preserves from our fruit. You may bring your own picking box/bucket but please line with plastic bag for removal when weighing. Check Facebook or nealsberryfarm.com before driving out to be sure we are open. 21104 Binford Rd., Waller, TX 77484 @nealsberryfarm.com
