Wow! What an awesome crowd we had today at the farm! Thanks everyone who came out on this beautiful day. We will be closed tomorrow (our usual Monday closed day), but back open Tuesday (June 16, 2020), from 7:30am-1:00pm. (Check in before 12:30pm to pick, weigh and pay before our 1:00pm sharp closing time.) Sad to say, peak blackberry season is well over, but y'all knew that was to be expected. There are still some scattered ripe blackberries, but you will have to work harder for them now. On Tuesday, for the first time we will have watermelon radishes for U-Pick, as shown in the picture here with the farmer. Please note we DO NOT HAVE U-PICK WATERMELONS, only U-Pick RADISHES that have a watermelon color. The new patch of sunflowers is in the row next to them--not blooming yet, but it won't be long. Please see the yellow sign in the picture for what will be available on Tuesday 'til picked out. And as always, bring your clippers for cutting zinnias and okra. Mid-Pride (freestone) peaches are ripe now, and will be for sale in pre-picked in the market, along with lots of homegrown vegetables.
