muscadine grapes in peak season now!

You asked for evening Muscadine grape picking—Here’s your chance! Will be OPEN Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023 (5:00pm-8:00pm). ALSO Sat. morning Aug 19, 2023 (8:00am ‘til 12:00 noon). Both days are FOR GRAPE PICKING, SUNFLOWER PICKING AND ZINNIA PICKING ONLY!! Vines are loaded with Bronze Scuppernong “Fry” (large size with edible skin, 21% sugar) and Black “Supreme” Muscadine grapes (long shelf life, edible skin, 22% sugar)! PICK INDIVIDUAL GRAPES, NOT CLUSTERS. For kids’ safety, please do not allow them to hang or pull on the single wire that holds all the grapes. NO OTHER FRUITS/VEGS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PICKING. Pickers must check in at market at least 30 minutes before closing time.  CASH/MC/VISA/AMEX. Bring Clippers to cut flowers. No pets/No checks please. Sorry, no picnic areas.  Restroom is available. Admission $3.00. Picking boxes $2.00, U-Pick grapes $6.00/lb, Zinnias $3/cup, Sunflowers $1/stem. For sale: Blackberry plants $20 and Blackberry preserves from our fruit. You may bring your own picking box/bucket but please line with plastic bag for removal when weighing.
