muscadine grape u-pick season continues wk 2

🟣EDIT TO ORIGINAL POST: WE WILL BE OPEN SUNDAY 8/16/26 7:30AM-1:00pm! ORIGINAL POST: OPEN FRIDAY, AUG. 14, 2026 (7:30am-1:00PM) FOR U-PICK MUSCADINE GRAPES. (If there are still ripe grapes left to pick FRIDAY, we will open SATURDAY 8/15 and maybe SUN 8/16/26, same hours.) Black Supreme, Ison and Bronze Fry muscadines are available for U-Pick, and maybe some PRE-PICKED grapes too. In addition, we have an assortment of home grown pre-picked vegetables and herbs for sale in the market (see photo). We plan to open Fri-Sat-Sun weekends 7:30am-1:00pm for a while, as ripe grapes are increasing in production now and they will reach peak in a few weeks, then taper off for a few more weeks. Again, we will be closed if we get picked out, so watch here or www.nealsberryfarm.com for the latest updates.

🟣PICK INDIVIDUAL RIPE GRAPES, NOT CLUSTERS (see photos). Both varieties are excellent for fresh eating, jelly and wine. These are much larger and sweeter than the wild muscadines grown in this area. For kids’ safety, please do not allow them to hang or pull on the single wire that holds all the grapes. NO OTHER FRUITS/VEGS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PICKING—Just grapes!

🟣 Pickers must check-in AT THE MARKET before 12:30pm and weigh/pay by 1:00 pm sharp closing time. We accept CASH/MC/VISA/AMEX. No pets/No checks please. Sorry, no picnic area. Porta-Pottie available.

🟣 Admission $3.00. Picking boxes $3.00, U-Pick grapes $7.00/lb, Pre-Picked Grapes $9/lb. You may bring your own picking box/bucket but please line with plastic bag for removal when weighing
